don't stop.
Our Mission & Vision
Since 2016, we have been involved in silk production with the aim of reviving this forgotten tradition in a modern form in Hungary. In 2018, we established our own mulberry plantation where we cultivate nearly 400 trees, as silkworms feed exclusively on mulberry leaves.
Our vision is to produce silk using ethical, animal-friendly methods, allowing the moths to emerge at the end of their natural life cycle, rather than perishing during the process. Silk production for us is a sustainable system where we strive to utilize all by-products, making the process virtually waste-free.
The first step is the production of raw silk, which can be used as a raw material for premium textiles and garment linings. The next direction is silk protein extracted from silkworm cocoons, which is a valuable active ingredient known in the cosmetic industry, and also offers new biotechnological solutions in the field of food preservation. Naturally deceased moths can also be utilized as insect protein.
Our philosophy is to carry out sericulture with high added value, using unique and innovative methods, following the "less is more" principle: producing fewer products in quantity but higher in quality in a sustainable way.
Our goal is to revive the tradition of Hungarian silk production and to rebuild an old-new industry.
